Ayushmann Khurrana went to Kaman Convent School but changed his school to St. John’s High School for the last 3 years of his high school.
St. John’s High School was an all-boys school.
He did his undergraduate in English Literature from DAV College, Chandigarh.
Later he also got enrolled in the School of Communication Studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh where he got his master’s degree in Mass Communication.
During his school days, he was also inclined towards theatres.
He did theatres for five years and even was the founding member of the active theatre groups ‘ Aaghaaz’ and ‘ Manchtantra’ of Chandigarh.
He has also developed poetry and playing guitar as his hobbies.

Ayushmann was the eldest son of P.Khurrana and Poonam Khurrana. His father is a well-known writer and a great astrologer who was even featured as an astrologer on TV channels like Zee (Punjabi), ETC etc
He was also on BIG FM (92.7). While his father is already renowned, his mother too is a qualified M.A. in Hindi.
She is of half-Burmese decent and is the reason behind Ayushmann’s love for writing and literature.
Aparshakti was captain of his school’s sports team as well as of the Haryana U-19 cricket team.
However, later he too followed his brother’s footsteps and established himself as an actor, RJ, and a TV presenter.

Career
Ayushmann was interested in acting ever since his college days.
He did theatre for 5 years and then decided to pave his way into TV.
He even won the title of MTV Roadies season 2.
After the fame he got from MTV Roadies he was unstoppable. However, he did take a break from the limelight for a few years to complete his studies.
After completing his studies he came back in Bollywood and has been giving movies of this era.
He made his debut in Bollywood through ‘Vicky Donor‘ directed by Shoojit Sircar in 2012 which was a hit.
His role as Vicky Arora was highly praised by both audiences and the critics.
Along with being established as an actor to look forward, he also established himself as a playback singer with his very popular song ‘ Paani Da Rang ‘ of the same movie.

Ayushmann Khurrana has been married to his childhood friend Tahira Khurrana who also happens to be the love of his life.
He and Tahira met at a physics class during their teen days when they were in the 12th standard and were instantly attracted to each other.
However, they didn’t confess and remain friends for a long time.
Later they both did their master’s degree in Mass Communication together.
They got married in 2011 when Ayushmann was still struggling.
Tahira was doing much better in her profession than Ayushmann; still, she married him just out of love.
She was a professor who was running her own PR firm in Chandigarh along with being the head of a radio station while Ayushmann was just a struggling actor.
She gave up all her hope of tying the knot with him when he told her about being an actor, however, she always was beside him through his entire thick and thins.
Finally, Ayushmann proposed to Tahira and they got married in September 2011 and now it’s already been 9 years.
She has also directed a critically acclaimed short film ‘Toffee’. Recently Tahira was diagnosed with stage 0 cancer and underwent mastectomy for it.
