Sonu Sood marks 19 years in Bollywood; recalls ‘how time flies’


Actor Sonu Sood completed 19 years in Bollywood today as he made his debut in the industry with his first time ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’ helmed by filmmaker Sukumar Nair in 2002. Recalling how time flies, Sonu took to his Twitter handle and revealed that his debut film will always remain special to him.

Retweeted a post on his debut anniversary, he wrote “Oh Wow, How time flies..This will always remain as one of my most special film #ShaheedEAzamBhagatSingh.”

Talking about ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’, the film was based on the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh where Sonu was seen essaying the lead role of Bhagat Singh.

Meanwhile, Sonu Sood continues to make headlines with his philanthropic work to help the needy ever since the last year. Recently he was spotted reacting to a news report that mentioned a mutton shop named after him in Karimnagar, Telangana.

A vegetarian by choice, the actor replied to the news on Twitter with a hint of humour and wrote, “I am a vegetarian..N mutton shop on my name? Can I help him open something vegetarian.”

Sonu has been keeping himself busy amid the second wave COVID-19 in India by arranging oxygen concentrators and other necessary equipment for the patients hit by the deadly virus.
