Kajol, Shruti Haasan pay an emotional tribute to film producer Ryan Stephen | Hindi Movie News

Ryan Stephen, who was the producer of films like Kajol starrer ‘Devi’ and Kiara Advani’s ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’, passed away on Saturday due to complications from COVID-19. Kajol paid an emotional tribute to the filmmaker, sharing a series of pictures from their several meetings. “Love u forever and ever @ryanivanstephen . Friends for life and beyond remember?” Kajol had captioned their memories while also quoting Chris Rea’s song ‘Tell Me There’s a Heaven’.

Shruti Haasan also lit a candle in memory of the 50-year-old filmmaker. “I remember when you came home and laughed at my secular saint frida candle and asked me why I hadn’t lit it. I know you loved her so today I light this candle for the very first time so she can hold your hand into the next phase of your beautiful soul’s beautiful journey. From this moment on I know that when I hear a melody that is pretty, read a poem that’s moving or see and feel anything of beauty I will instantly share that moment with you.. goodbye dear Ryan you will forever be a beautiful soul and all the things of beauty in this world and beyond belong to you now… until we meet again ..”

Sharing pictures of Ryan, Richa Chadha had penned an emotional note that read, “I started typing a long msg… deleted. What to say, it’ll be a ramble. Ryan… I will only seek solace in the fact that your posts off late have been so happy… I know I’ll be in denial about this.”
